FAQs
1. Why are treatments 45 minutes instead of 60?
Treatments are scheduled in hourly appointment blocks, allowing dedicated time between clients for treatment notes, room preparation, private health claiming and any post-treatment questions. This means your treatment never feels rushed, and every client receives the attention it deserves.
2. Which treatment should i book?
Targeted Treatment (45 min) is ideal if you have one main area of concern.
Extended Treatment (90 min) is recommended for multiple areas or more complex treatment needs
3. Do i need a referral?
No. You can book directly without a referral. Some health funds or insurance claims may have specific requirements, so check with your provider if you're unsure.
4. Do i need to be a Goodlife member?
No. You don't need to be a Goodlife member to book a remedial massage. Appointments are available to everyone, whether you're a Goodlife member or not.
5. Can i claim through my private health fund
Yes. HICAPS is available for eligible private health funds, allowing you to claim eligible rebates on the spot.
6. Will the treatment be painful?
Remedial massage can sometimes be uncomfortable, particularly when treating tight muscles or long-standing pain. Treatment is always tailored to your comfort level, and we'll communicate throughout your session to ensure the pressure is appropriate.
7. Will i receive exercises or recovery advice?
Yes, where appropriate. As a qualified Personal Trainer and Remedial Massage Therapist, I may recommend simple stretches, mobility exercises or recovery strategies to help you maintain your results between treatments.
8. What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the area being treated, you may be asked to remove or clothing, but your privacy and comfort will always be respected using professional draping techniques.
